Making delicious non-alcoholic aperitifs from the world's most wonderful plants.

Our story

Paul, Everleaf's founder, is both a conservation biologist and a bar owner. In 2019, while working behind the bar with some of the world’s finest spirits, he knew exactly what made them great. But when someone asked for a non-alcoholic option, finding the right answer wasn’t so simple. This got him thinking - How could he create a non-alcoholic drink with all the depth and complexity of the finest drinks? He turned to nature for the answer.

The answer is in nature

Crafting Everleaf took over a year of experimentation. Paul dove deep into researching plants, sustainable sourcing, and testing methods like dehydrating, macerating, and extracting to create the perfect balance of complementary yet surprising flavours and perfect texture.

Sourcing

We carefully source our plants to support the ecosystems and the communities where they grow. This approach ensures not only the highest quality but also the best flavours. For example, some of our ingredients are linked to meaningful causes, like our gum acacia, which supports Africa’s Great Green Corridor, or our vanilla, which helps fund education, conservation, and women’s rights in Madagascar. Others, like our Japanese cherry blossom and Calabrian bergamot, come from fully traceable, sustainable supply chains.

Working

We strive to make Everleaf as sustainable as possible through the ways we work. We are a B Corp company, meaning we have been externally certified by B Labs as having met rigorous social and environmental standards, representing our commitment to goals outside shareholder profit. We assess our product and company carbon emissions with Climate Partner, and have offset these through certified forest, mountain and marine projects respectively, making us “carbon neutral”. Visit the Climate Partner site to find out more.

Giving back

We're members of 1% For The Planet, committed to giving more than 1% of our turnover to charity each year. We do this through our partnership with Fauna & Flora, the world’s oldest conservation charity, where Paul used to work as a conservation biologist. We also support Plantlife, the global charity dedicated to the protection and restoration of wild plants and fungi, and SeaTrees who replants marine species to regenerate ocean health. In the UK, we support the on-trade through The Drinks Trust and Equal Measures. We know where our donations go and how they're used.
